Become a member of Joints in Motion, the Arthritis Foundation's premiere training program.
Help raise both funds and awareness to fight arthritis, the nation's number one cause of disability. Designed to guide people of all ages and fitness levels through an extensive training program, the Joints in Motion Program will help you meet your personal goal. Approximately 80% of all Joints in Motion athletes have never run or walked a marathon before, but with our careful guidance and encouragement, nearly all of them go the 26.2 mile distance and cross the finish line. Join us and we will guide you to the finish line of the ING New York marathon or the Boston Marathon. Work with our coaches to personalize your 20-week training program and enjoy the support and encouragement of the Arthritis Foundation staff and team along the way.
In addition members of the Massachusetts’s Chapter
of Joints in Motion will receive:
- Weekly training session with direct access to coaches
- Clinics on nutrition, clothing, injury prevention, and more
- Gym membership
- Event entry
- Team apparel
- Team socials and parties
- Discounts at local running stores
