2022 Highlight #5 | Age Group World Championships attracts its biggest field ever!

The AbbottWMM Wanda Age Group World Championships continues to go from strength to strength, and this year in London we welcomed our biggest field yet, with 3,000 athletes from around the world joining us at the start line in Blackheath.

AbbottWMM Wanda Age Group World Championships medals prepared ahead of the race.

With nine different age categories, we handed out 54 individual awards to runners who had taken on the grueling course around the British capital. We celebrated their achievements with a gala reception after the race which featured a surprise appearance from none other than marathon world record holder Eliud Kipchoge.
