Runner registration for Tokyo Marathon 2014 opens until August 31 2013!

General Runner Application
(*Please see the attached "Guideline for Applicants.")
Capacity: Marathon - 29,400 (except early entrants, elite and charity runners)
10 km - 400 (except the runners participating under the Great East Japan Earthquake recovery effort program)
Period: Thursday, August 1, 2013 – Saturday, August 31, 2013
Procedure: Online registration via official website -> www.tokyo42195.com
Screening: Entrants will be decided by a lottery (not on a first-come, first-served basis) if applications exceed the maximum number.
Eligibility: Those who satisfy all the eligibility criteria of Tokyo Marathon 2014 guidelines.

Charity Runner Application
(*You can also donate without applying for a charity runner.)
Capacity: 3,000 (Marathon only)
Period: Monday, July 1, 2013 – Friday, November 15, 2013
Procedure: Online registration via official website-> www.tokyo42195.org/2014/charity/
Screening: First-come, first-served basis
Eligibility
1. Those who have applied to donate 100,000 yen or more to the charity programs and wish to participate in Tokyo Marathon 2014
2. Those who satisfy all the eligibility criteria of Tokyo Marathon 2014 guidelines.

*Entry fee for both general and charity runners is 12,000 yen.
