Schär missing her racing fix

Abbott World Marathon Majors women's wheelchair champion Manuela Schar has been adapting to a new way of life as she explained to us in an exclusive interview last week.

The Swiss Paralympian has been denied the chance to extend her nine-race wnning streak in AbbottWMM races after missing out on the Tokyo Marathon and the postponement of the Boston and Virgin Money London Marathon races until the fall, and was also due to compete at the Paralympics in Tokyo in the summer, now postponed until 2021.

The 35-year-old spoke to AbbottWMM from her home in Kriens to talk all things lockdown, including how she is coping without the thrill of racing while staying on top of her fitness and filling her time.
