The Big Sur International Marathon, on April 28, 2024 , is one of the most iconic races on the 2024 list of AbbottWMM Wanda Age Group World Rankings qualifying races.
Alongside the marathon distance is a 21-Miler, 11-Miler, 12K, 5K, or relay, where 10,000 runners and walkers will traverse one of the most pristine stretches of coastline in the world on California's central coast.
Marathon registration opens August 30 and includes several avenues for entry including a random drawing, VIP Program, Youth Fitness entries, Charity partner entries, and more.
The race has already proved itself a happy hunting ground for Age Groupers seeking a slot in the Age Group World Championships. In 2023, the race is sending 29 qualifiers to compete in the Championships within this year's Bank of America Chicago Marathon on October 8.
