Vote for your performance of the day

Two-time Abbott World Major Marathon winner Deena Kastor has named her shortlist for the Performance of the Day from the Boston Marathon presented by Bank of America.

John Korir and Sharon Lokedi ran sensational races to defend their titles.

“That’s not an easy feat since it comes with so much attention and responsibility.

“Korir broke a long-standing course record by running 2:01:52 while Lokedi dropped a 4:35-mile in a series of impressive miles to distance herself from the competition

“There were four Americans in the top-ten in the elite women’s race. Jess McClain ran the fastest time by an American on this storied course.

Zouhair Talbi finished fifth place and was the top American in the men’s race, putting his name in the conversation for the 2028 US Marathon Trails.

Eden Rainbow-Cooper was on a mission from the start. As she flew through the race she passed some of the elite men’s wheelchair racers, despite starting three minutes behind them!”
