A few things to know.
Does a membership to the Gold Club guarantee me entry into the Majors races?
No. Your Gold Club membership includes a variety of benefits, including access to member-only race draws that provide 50 entries to each of the Majors races. However, entry into the Majors is not guaranteed through the Gold Club.
Do I have to join the Gold Club to enter the Majors or get a Six Star medal?
No. The Abbott World Marathon Majors Gold Club is a separate, optional program that offers a variety of benefits to members but is not a requirement to participate in the Six Star Program or to receive a place in the World Rankings.
What is the purpose of the waitlist?
To ensure that our team can provide members with the best possible experience, membership to the Abbott World Marathon Majors Gold Club is capped. By joining the waitlist, you will be given the opportunity to join the Gold Club when the next registration window opens.
When will the next registration window open?
Registration will open in December for the following year membership. To be notified when registration is available, join the waitlist.
Do I need to sign up annually?
Your membership to the AbbottWMM Gold Club automatically renews each year. You can manage your account details and your membership renewal under Membership Settings.
What is included in the member gift?
Both new and renewing members are sent a gift pack containing a variety of exclusive merchandise and offers that can be immediately accessed.
Can membership be shared or is there a family membership available?
At this time, only individual Gold Club memberships are offered, and benefits cannot be shared.
